game material

Overview

Allows you to check which game material is under an entity. This is defined by checking the material of the object the entity's capsule is in contact with.

Inputs

checkPerforms a check.

Outputs

failFires an event, if checking of all other outputs was unsuccessful.
materialFires an event, if the entity is standing on corresponding material.

target

The entity on which to perform the check.

Properties

Output Quantity

Number of outputs.

For example, with Output Quantity = 16 a total of 16 different outputs will be generated, and you will therefore be able to fire 16 different events.

Game Material The material to check for.
NameThe name of the output.

Usage examples

Checks, if the player is close to the rabbit, then checks the material the rabbit is standing on. If the material is dirt, the rabbit will play a dig motion, if not, it will play an idle motion.
