Overview

Checks whether two objects are within a certain distance. This trigger fires the In signal when the distance between the object and the target becomes less or equal than the Distance. When the distance becomes more than the Distance, it fires the Out signal.

Inputs

activateActivates the trigger.
deactivateDeactivates the trigger.
checkPerforms the check and gets the result signal immediately.

Outputs

inObject is close to the target.
outObject is not close to the target.

Refs

objectAny object we need to check the distance to.
targetSecond object to check the distance. If the target is empty, then the distance to the player is measured instead.

Activate?Is the trigger active?
DistanceThe distance value.

Usage examples

Checks, if the player is close to a rabbit, then checks the material the rabbit is standing on. If the material is dirt, the rabbit will play a dig motion. If not, it will play an idle motion.
