Overview

This trigger fires an event when the target is damaged.

Inputs

ActivateActivates the trigger.
DeactivateDeactivates the trigger.

Outputs

EventFires an event when the target is hit by something.

Refs

targetThe target for a hit.
Initiator
  • Source of hitting.
  • Can be empty.
  • By default, the initiator is the player. This is governed by the Hit Source Filter in properties.

Properties

Active?If turned off, the trigger won't send any events. The property can be set to false by triggering the "deactivate" input of the trigger.
Hit Source Filter
  • Anyone  the event will fire when anyone hits the target.
  • Player Excluded  the event will fire when anyone hits the target, but not the player.
  • Player Only  the event will fire when only the player hits the target.
Hit types
  • On include all types.
  • Off remove all types.

Any hit typeAny type of a hit.
Weapon TypeThe event will fire when the target is hit from a certain weapon.
BoneThe event will fire when the target is hit at a certain bone.
RangeDamage range.
MinMinimum damage range.
MaxMaximum damage range.
Fly ByFor some difficulty levels, the event will be triggered with a certain probability upon a near miss with a bullet. 

Usage examples

If anyone hits the ref, it will play a sound and a motion.
