Overview

This trigger fires an event when the target is dead. 

Inputs

Activate

Activates the trigger.
DeactivateDeactivates the trigger.
CheckChecks whether the target is dead. If it is, it fires the Event.

Outputs

EventFires an event when the health of the target is below zero.

Refs

targetThe target for death.
Initiator
  • Source of killing.
  • Can be empty.
  • By default, the initiator is the player. It is governed by the Hit Source Filter in properties.

Properties

ActiveIf turned off, the trigger won't send any events. The property can be set to false by triggering the "deactivate" input of the trigger.
Hit Source Filter
  • Anyone  the event will fire when anyone kills the target.
  • Player Excluded  the event will fire when anyone kills the target but not the player.
  • Player Only  the event will fire only when the player kills the target.
Cause Mode
  • From All  the event will occur from all damage.
  • From Fire  the event will occur only from the fire (type  burn).
  • From Type  the event will occur only from a certain type of damage.

Usage examples

The Lurker's corpse will be destroyed after a delay of five seconds following its death.
