signal

Overview

Sends a signal (normally received from the "Receive Signal" block) to an object (e.g. makes a door unlocked).

Inputs

activateSends the signal.

Outputs

finishActivates after the signal is handled by receivers.

Refs

payloadEntity to pass to the receiver. Only one entity can be passed.
targetWhat the entities send the action to. This is ignored when the mode is Everywhere.

Properties

SignalSend a message to God.
Mode
  • Everywhere: send the signal to every script on the level. The target pin is ignored.
  • Local: if the target pin is empty, send the signal only within the current script. If the target pin is pinned with targets, then send the signal to all targets.
  • Relatives: send the script to attached objects. If the target pin is pinned with targets, then send the signal to all targets and their attached objects.
