Overview

Allows you to apply physical force to an object. Depending on settings, the momentum of the force can have different properties, different directions and vectors of application, and different durations or impact types.

targetThe object to apply the impulse to.


Properties

Debug DrawDebugged drawing. If turned on, this will draw a cone in the direction of the impulse.
Min Amount

If a randomized impulse is desired (if not, use only min).

Max Amount
Max DistanceThe maximum distance to which the object will be moved after applying the pulse.
Bone If the impulse is applied to a single bone and not an entire model.
Direction Impulse direction vector.
Continuous Force

Single/constant impulse application.

Local Coords Impulse orientation in the local/global coordinate system.
Apply As Impulse
  • Unchecked  adds specified force to other forces acting on the object.
  • Checked  ignores all other forces acting on the object.
As Torque

Apply the same impulse but with angular (rotation) acceleration instead of the linear (shift) one.
