set aux value

Overview

This block allows you to set an aux value (X, Y, Z) instead of using instant change, blend, or animation curve.

Inputs

activateActivates the aux value set.
deactivateDeactivates the aux value set.

Outputs

finishThis pin is triggered on the blending end or on the animation finish. The pin is not triggered, if an animation name is set and Looped is true.

targetThe target to apply the new aux value to.

Properties

Animation NameThe name of the animation curve.
LoopedLoop value change, works only when Animation Name is set.
Enabled XEnables the X channel, the only X value is set.
Enabled YEnables the Y channel, the only Y value is set.
Enabled ZEnables the Z channel, the only Z value is set.
AUX ValuesSets an aux value with a picker.

XYZ

Sets a value per channel.
Blend Time (sec)Duration of the blend from the current value to the target value.
Add modeIf enabled, this applies the value on top of the old value.

Usage examples

The entity gets the hit "burn". After that, it changes the texture preset to mod_burn (shader: burn_effect_aux). Then the X channel of the aux value changes to 0.5 with blend (1 second).
