Decal
Decals are like stickers that attach to any surface. They normally have transparency (mask/aref), e.g. bullets damage, vines attached to a wall, graffiti, etc.).
Â
Placement and Setup:
There are several ways to add a decal to a level:
- Look for General → Decal in the Entities Toolbar.
- Look for Decal in the Entity List Window.
- By using the Shortcut "D+LMB" on the level.
A decal should look like a white transparent cube/rectangle in the scene. If the decal volume is not "attached" to any surface, or it's affecting more than 1024 polygon faces, it should turn red.
Also, if a decal is not selected, it should look like an icon that looks like a sticker with a D on it.
